Mountains of Hope in motion –across the world, the latest news from Kinetika

Since 3 April, Mountains of Hope has been unfolding in real time – not along a single trail, but across cities, coastlines and countryside worldwide. From Batroun and Byblos to London, Melbourne to Munich, Kaş to Catalonia, people are walking – alone and in groups, quietly and collectively – carrying stories from the Lebanon Mountain Trail into their own landscapes. Each day follows the route we would have taken in Lebanon, with a silk story shared from one of the 27 communities along the trail. These stories are being read, reflected on, and carried forward step by step, across different places. What’s emerging is expansive – a distributed act of solidarity shaped by attention, care and participation. Meanwhile, in the UK, we’re excited to share the process behind a special commission with the new Wrexham Museum.
