May News | Our 12th annual festival returns to Thurrock
Mountains of Hope in motion –across the world, the latest news from Kinetika
This Saturday, T100 Festival returns across Thurrock for its 12th year. Over two weeks, artists, storytellers, schools, volunteers, neighbours and communities will transform Thurrock through walks, performances, workshops and shared experiences that invite us to see familiar places differently. This year’s festival theme, Seeing Thurrock Differently: A Journey Home, unfolds through riverside storytelling, graffiti workshops, poetry in our Natural Dye Garden, citizen science at dusk, live performance and our joyful closing celebration, A Place at the Table.
Elsewhere, Walk with Lebanon: Mountains of Hope recently came to a close after a month of global solidarity walks alongside the Lebanon Mountain Trail Association. Across 67 walks spanning 6 continents and 25+ countries, stories from Lebanon were carried through mountains, coastlines, forests and city streets worldwide – creating a remarkable collective act of connection, reflection and hope. And yesterday at the RSA House in London, audiences gathered for the screening of the Beach of Dreams films and documentary alongside a special Q&A. The new Beach of Dreams documentary is now available to watch here.
