You will be joining us at an exciting and pivotal moment, as we approach our 30th anniversary and plan for a major retrospective in 2027. With renewed funding as an Arts Council England National Portfolio Organisation (NPO) for 2023-2027, this period will see us scaling our existing work globally and launching new initiatives, including the introduction of Kinetika Women —a new foundation dedicated to supporting women from diverse cultural and international backgrounds to build and sustain careers as creative leaders in arts and social change.
We are particularly interested in people with expertise in one or more of the following:
• Legal, governance and finance
• Public relations, communications and marketing
• Leadership of organisations, or programmes
• Textiles and the textile industry
• Knowledge of the socio-economic landscape in and around Thurrock
• Knowledge or experience of the governance requirements of a charity, particularly an Arts Council England National Portfolio Organisation
We are interested to hear from people with other areas of expertise too, especially those who can support our work in community engagement and placemaking. Each trustee must share our values and help us reflect the diverse communities which engage with us. We welcome applications from the widest range of backgrounds from all who believe their professional talents can help Kinetika to realise our cultural, social and financial ambitions.
Deadline for applications: 17:00 (BST), 18 October 2024
