Kinetika Terms and Conditions

Our terms and conditions comply with UK legislation and are designed to ensure that our customers can shop easily and with confidence with Kinetika’s Online shop www.kinetika.co.uk/shop. Our online shop is operated by Kinetika Design Studio (Company Registration Number 8578617).

These terms and conditions only apply to web site sales.

Kinetika reserves the right to update these conditions at any time. Please print these terms and conditions for future reference.

Pricing

All prices are inclusive of VAT (VAT Number 166 5405 02) and are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right, at any time, to update, suspend, or discontinue the sale of any product without notice. You agree that Kinetika will not be liable to you or to any third party for any update, suspension or discontinuance of any product. In the event that a product is listed incorrectly due to typographical error or error in pricing or incorrect product information, we shall have the right, prior to the acceptance of your order, to decline or cancel any such orders, whether or not the order has been confirmed and/or your card/bank account charged. If you have been charged for the order and we cancel your order, we shall immediately issue a refund or provide acceptable alternatives to you, if you do not want an alternative, a refund will be provided.

Delivery

Currently, we only dispatch orders within the UK.

Delivery rates vary by product and are clearly displayed at checkout. Free delivery applies to all orders over £25.

All orders will be dispatched within 5 working days and you will receive a confirmation email when your order has left our studios.

Product Availability

We endeavour to regularly update our stock control systems to accurately reflect availability. Whilst we would love to be able to stock all items, this is not always possible due to their limited-edition nature.  If there is a specific item you are interested in purchasing that is showing as out of stock, please do contact us at sales@kinetika.co.uk to discuss you requirements.

We will keep you informed whenever an issue with delivery or availability arises.

Website Images and Descrip­tions

Please note that the colour of images shown on this website may be affected by the technology used to access it. Whilst we do our best to faithfully reproduce colours, some variation may occur.

Placing an Order

We require your billing and shipping address to be able to despatch your order. For more details please see our Privacy Policy.

Payment can be made by Direct bank transfer or PayPal.  If you require a VAT invoice for your order, please contact us after your purchase and we will arrange for this to be sent to you.

When you place an order, either online, telephone or in writing, we will treat it as an offer to buy. If we accept your order, we will send you a confir­mation e-mail with your order number, at which point we make a legal contract with you. However, we reserve the right to refuse an order if we feel it necessary, in which case we will e-mail you as soon as we can to let you know.

You will receive an e-mail confir­mation, giving you the opportunity to check your order details and contact us regarding any errors.

Cancelling your Order

In the event that you would like to cancel your order, please contact us in writing within 14 working days after the day you receive your goods.  Goods must be returned in a saleable condition and postage and packaging costs will not be refunded unless the item is faulty. The costs of returning the item back to us are payable by you.

Hand-woven silk is non-refundable, as it is cut to the customers specification, unless of course the product is defected.  Unfor­tunately we cannot accept returns of silk after they have been cut or washed by you, we ask that you please check for faults, errors when you receive your goods and make sure you are happy with your fabric before you wash or cut it. If you decide you have received the wrong fabric you must tell us before you wash or cut it as we cannot accept it one it has been cut or washed. You have 14 days from delivery in which to do so.

You will receive your refund once we receive them in the condition in which they were sent to you. This means that you are responsible for returning the goods to us and we would therefore recommend getting return proof of postage as we cannot be held responsible for returns that do not reach us.  If goods are returned to us in a non-saleable condition or they have been damaged we reserve the right to refuse a refund so please package them carefully.

Damaged goods – whilst in Transit

All goods are examined in detail by Kinetika prior to despatch to ensure that they leave our studio in perfect condition. However, transit damage unfor­tunately can occur. If your purchase is showing obvious signs of transit damage upon delivery, please refuse to accept delivery and notify us immediately. If damage is only evident upon opening of packaging, then you must inform us within 48 hours of receipt. In either case, we will then arrange re-delivery of replacement goods as soon as possible.

Legal information

Sales on this web site are governed by English law and you agree to submit any dispute to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. All orders are subject to these terms and conditions and no amendments will be accepted by us. These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights.

These terms and conditions only cover the Kinetika web site. Any other web sites to which you link from this site may be governed by their own terms and conditions. We accept no respon­sibility or liability for the content of web sites which are not under our control.

We are required by law to tell you that sales can be concluded in English only and that we do not file copies of customer contracts.

Kinetika own the copyright in all materials on this site. You agree not to adapt, alter or create any derivative work from any material on this site, or to restrict or inhibit the use or enjoyment of this site by anyone else.
